GoPro is the largest action camera company in the world. Their products promote an adventurous lifestyle and bring out the inner thrill-seeker within all of us. I worked with their incredible team to design a custom icon library that was unique to the GoPro brand. We created a suite of 400+ icons that will be used throughout their web & mobile apps, marketing site, and camera interface.
In 2019, along with the release of the much anticipated GoPro Hero 8, GoPro wanted to refresh the icon suite by softening the edges for a more user friendly interface. They reached out to me to refine the filled icons for selected states and develop a style guide that their design team can use when building future icons. The end result are clean, geometric icons that have just a hint of softness along the corners.
